Scarlett has always been one of our favourite restaurants in HK to indulge in French bistro fare with a great wine list, so we were very excited to try their Bangkok location during our time in the city. Scarlett Bangkok, opened 8 years ago, is the brand’s first location and located in the stylish Hotel G. We were instantly blown away by the spectacular rooftop views and intimate ambiance perfect for date nights or a weekend evening with friends. The varied menu features many classic European dishes, mouthwatering charcuterie, and incredible cuts of beef. Make sure to check out their seasonal menus including their exclusive “Chocolate Menu” available during this month of November. The restaurant and chef have sourced cacao from regions in Thailand to create decadent savoury and sweet recipes. Highlights of our dinner included the indulgent Pan Seared Foie Gras Burger with Chumpohn Chocolate Brioche Buns, the delicate and flavourful Seared Scallops with Salted Cod Mousse and Prachuap Gruau Cocoa, the fragrant and irresistible Truffle Risotto, and the mouthwatering 4-6 Weeks Dry Aged Australian Wagyu Cote de Boeuf. Presentation and service was impeccable at Scarlett and the ambiance will ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable evening. Highly recommended when staying in bustling Bangkok.
