The Continental, a sanctuary of European sophistication and delicious cuisine at the heart of Admiralty, has introduced a mouthwatering Summer Tasting Menu to showcase a selection of delectable specialities. We loved the fresh ingredients, decadent preparation style, and true European flavour. Highlights of our meal included the indulgent and fresh Salad with Ceps and Foie Gras, the light and delicate Scallop Ceviche with Chili and Lime, the flavourful Grilled Mackerel with Cucumber, Apple and Pea Shoots, and the succulent and juicy Peppered Magret of Duck with Spinach and Cherries. The meal ended perfectly with a light Apricot Souffle with Almond Ice Cream and a choice of either a selection of cheeses with fig jam and pickled cherries, or their Grand Selection of Desserts which included Raspberry Milleffeuille, Chocolate and Salted Caramel Tart, and Passion Fruit and Strawberry Pavlova. Make sure to choose the wine pairing which went perfectly with every course. Their ambient surroundings and impeccable service made it an ideal date night spot and each bite impressed more than the next. A must try if you are craving a classic, sophisticated dining experience.
