Praya Palazzo is a welcome oasis set on Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River. Accessible by their private barge, you’ll find yourself being transported to another world upon entering the luxurious boutique hotel. Featuring an intricate mix of Italian architecture and Siam period furnishings, the hotel is both classic and elegant giving it a beautiful old world feel. We loved the cozy rooms complete with deep baths, plush bedding, and airy high ceilings. Walking around the grounds of the hotel you can enjoy the impressive design and beautiful corners as well as the refreshing riverfront swimming pool. Don’t miss the Signature Thai Set Dinner at Praya Dining, which was recently awarded the Michelin Plate, during your stay and treat yourself to a few drinks at the bar where you can enjoy sunset views in a quiet and ambient setting. The staff are not only inviting but go out of their way to personalise your stay. The convenient river location meant we could explore all of Bangkok’s famous temples and shopping malls while taking a relaxing ride on a sightseeing boat. A perfect escape from the city and an ideal spot to book a celebratory event.
