If you are looking for a traditional romantic setting and a grand dining space, Nicholini’s is the perfect spot. We were eager to sample their classic Italian fare and lucky enough to snag a quiet window side table and enjoy the intimate setting. The current tasting menu is curated by Chef Luca de Berardinis, who brings over 19 years experience and has served in various Michelin-Starred Italian restaurants in Italy, Germany and Hong Kong. The menu features many classic Italian dishes with a unique twist and combines amazing flavour with fine dining flair. Favourite dishes were the beef tartare with crunchy egg yolk and copious amounts of fragrant truffle, the deliciously rich red sicillian prwans served with perfectly prepared fresh chitarra pasta, the beautifully presented Mediterranean tuna in potato crust, and the indulgent warm chocolate olive cake which made for an ideal finale. The wine pairing went deliciously with each course, and we loved the impeccable service which enhanced our dining experience. A perfect spot to escape the city and indulge in a romantic date or celebratory dinner.
