Our search for the perfect burger has been ongoing since moving to HK, especially when the craving hits. We have sampled many that didn’t quite match our high burger expectations, so were very excited when we heard The Butchers Club were opening a burger joint of their own. Already famous for their delicious dry-aged beef, we knew they would deliver and they did, exceeding our expectations. Each patty is made with 100% dry-aged 300+ day grain fed certified Australian Angus beef, mixed with The Butchers Club’s secret seasoning mix, minced in front of you and then cooked to order. They only have one burger on their regular menu (which is delicious enough) but for a truly great burger experience order from their secret menu. Favourites included the Double Happiness, which features a double patty with double cheese incased in two grilled cheese sandwiches (amazing!!) The Chunke, which is made with one giant half kilo patty and double cheese (there’s a food challenge with this one) and the Wu Tang Style, which is fried in Sriracha and topped with cheese, kimchi and tempura sweet potato. Make sure to pair your meat with a beer and their great selection of bourbons.
