Bocado is the perfect neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar for a cozy date night or enjoyable evening with family. We loved the inviting and intimate setting, engaging bar area, and delicious menu featuring modern American fare, and high quality ingredients. Highlights of our meal included the Grilled Halloumi with grilled tomato and extra virgin olive oil, the fragrant and fresh PEI mussels sautéed with white wine, scallions & grape tomatoes, the crisp and addictive artichoke with blue cheese dip, the delicately accented Pan Seared Branzino with rainbow carrots, grape tomato, fennel, shallots, capers, and white wine sauce, and the indulgent, juicy and perfectly prepared “Steak and Frites” grilled 12oz NY strip steak with rainbow carrots and hand cut crispy fries. They also have a Kids Menu full of healthy and hearty options that both our children loved, and an enticing selection of rich and tempting desserts. The wine list is not one to miss with many unique and well priced options. An ideal choice for a New York City night at the heart of the Upper East Side.
