Chao Pescao is Andaz Costa Rica’s buzzing tapas bar, perfect for a fun evening while staying at the luxurious resort. We loved the stylish design, welcoming terrace, and inviting staff ready to help us navigate the tempting South American inspired menu.  Dishes are separated by regions and countries giving you a taste of latin flavours and cooking techniques.

We couldn’t get enough of the innovative presentations and vibrant flavours alongside irresistible cocktails and wine menu. Highlights of our dinner included the juicy and smokey “Aracherra” Pan Seared Skirt Steak served with Smoked Tomato Sauce, the fragrant “Pargo Sudado” Poached Red Snapper in a Bisque, and the rich and indulgent “Cerdito de Cochabamba” Sour-Sweet Braised Pork Belly with a Tamarind reduction.  Every dish was full of flavour and textures and we loved the experience of sharing and delving into each plate that was brought to our table. A perfect spot for date night and a must try for foodies during their trip.
