We are always excited to eat at neighborhood French bistros and Le Port Parfume was one of the best we had been to in a long time. We loved the classic open front entrance, quaint and nostalgic wooden tables, and traditional chalkboard menu. It is impossible to fault any dish sampled during our deliciously enjoyable dinner, where favourites included their fragrant bamboo clams in white wine sauce, tender and perfectly cooked smoked pigeon, and lemon accented grilled sea bream cooked in their Josper Grill. We loved the use of fresh produce and hints of local fare, fused with quintessentially French recipes. No meal is complete without dessert and you cannot miss the light, freshly baked madeleines paired with chocolate mousse and their selection of fresh tea. There was plenty on the menu we wanted to try, so I’m sure we will return in the near future for another enjoyable night. An ideal spot for romantic dates or long catch up meals with friends.
