Olivio features an open kitchen, Mediterranean inspired design details, and beautiful windowsill tables overlooking Mount Yotei. The varied menu features fresh ingredients from Hokkaido crafted into delectable Italian cuisine.
Highlights included the creamy Caprese using Burrata Cheese, Tomatoes and Basil, the rich and flavourful “Trippa alla Fiorentina” using braised Hokkaido Beef Tripe and Parmesan Cheese, the crisp and fragrant Margherita Pizza, the tender “Polpo Arrostito” Roasted Octopus with Potato Puree and Garlic, and the juicy “Tagliata di Manzo” using Hokkaido Beef Sirloin, Rucola, Cherry Tomatoes and Parmesan Slices. They also feature a family friendly children’s menu which was a huge hit with our little ones. A must dine spot after a day of skiing in the Hanazono slopes and ideal for families visiting Niseko.
