Felix is always one of our favourite restaurants to visit each time we are back in Hong Kong. The renowned restaurant is located in the luxurious Peninsula Hong Kong and never fails to impress. As soon as we set foot in the captivating space we were enveloped in the modern scene and spectacular views. Grab a table by the floor to ceiling windows and enjoy the city’s best vantage point of Victoria Harbour. We arrived just in time for the nightly light show and loved enjoying a cocktail as we took in the lively event.
Felix’s contemporary European menu is comprised of the best ingredients and their popular bar makes creative cocktails sure to please the discerning diner. We sampled the tasting menu during our dinner and loved every beautifully presented course. Highlights included the creamy and flavourful “Vitello Tonnato” using Veal Carpaccio, Confit Tuna Sauce and Lemon, the decadent Hokkaido Scallop Bread with Lobster Bisque topped with Kristal Caviar, the fragrant and delicate Spanish Meagre a la Plancha with Sobrasada Emulsion, and the tender and rich Grilled A4 Kagoshima Tenderloin with Darphin Potato and Morelle Cherries Jus. The light and sweet French Rhubarb was the perfect finale to the seasonal menu and we loved pairing the meal with a variety of their signature cocktails.
Felix allows diners over six years old so this was the first time we dined as a family at the restaurant. Our children loved the grandeur and we had an amazing time celebrating a special occasion as a family. The staff were quick to accommodate special requests for the children and ensured our family had an evening to remember. A perfect spot to bring visitors to the city or mark a memorable evening.
