Experience a slice of Maldivian culture with a beachfront Malafaaiy dinner. The team at JW Marriott Maldives set up a sunset scene right in the sand where we enjoyed the beautiful ocean views and quality time as a family. After the sun sets the staff performed a traditional Maldivian dance complete with drums and authentic dress. Guests are invited to join in the festivities and learn Maldivian dancing. The performance ended with the presentation of a Maldivian feasts, including a huge variety of traditional fare. Our family delighted in the performance and seeing a glimpse of the culture from the beautiful islands. We loved sampling the spicy and addictive dishes and unique flavours that had our tastebuds surprised and hungry for more.
