Dhiyavaru, Reethi Faru’s picturesque overwater dining destination, was one of our favourite spots during our stay at the beautiful Maldives resort. Surrounded by crystal clear turquoise ocean, you can choose to sit in the covered dining room or on the outdoor terrace enjoying the view. The restaurant is open 24 hours serving up gourmet cuisine and comfort food as well as afternoon tea and a large selection of wines and cocktails. We loved the mouthwatering chef’s specialities featuring some of the best seafood we tasted in the Maldives. Highlights included the fragrant, perfectly prepared Whole Baked Fish served with Garlic Dill Butter Sauce, delectable European style “Gamberi Diavolo” Jumbo Prawns with Tomatoes, Capers, Garlic, Red Pepper Flakes, Basil and Olives deglazed with White Wine and served with Spaghetti Marinara, and the juicy and rich Roasted Lamb Shank with Mashed Potatoes, Ratatouille and Rosemary Demi Glaze. The scenery is truly unbeatable and we even saw turtles and dolphins from the perfect vantage point.
