Grazing by Mark Greenaway, located in the luxurious Waldorf Astoria, is a must dine spot when visiting Edinburgh. The elegant restaurant serves a mouthwatering seasonal menu using the finest Scottish and English ingredients. We started our dinner with a refreshing glass of crisp champagne before the accommodating and friendly team walked us through the tempting menu.
We couldn’t resist starting with the fragrant and creamy Crab Toast with Shellfish Mousse and delectable local Sloe Gin Cured Salmon. For main courses we delved into the fresh and juicy Rare Breed Pork Chop and the buttery Whole Roasted Lemon Sole. Our dessert was a huge highlight where the chef created the well loved sticky toffee pudding in the form of a souffle.
Make sure to pair your meal with a bottle from the impressive wine list and ask the staff for suggestions on the best cocktails and to suit your meal. Families will be happy with the healthy and delicious kids menu that was thoroughly enjoyed by our children. One of our favourite meals in Edinburgh and a perfect way to sample Scottish fine dining.
