Libertine is a quiet French bistro set adjacent to Soho and Hollywood Road. The decor and menu resembles a quintessential French style, and the slightly hidden location allows for a private and intimate meal. We ordered a selection of French classics and were pleasantly treated to good home cooked recipes. I recommend the goats cheese salad if you are craving something simple, light and delicious. The fresh cheese, vegetables and dressing make for a perfect start to the meal. Their steak tartare was great if you like a spicier recipe and the duck confit tasted delicious paired with an appetizing gravy. Perfect for a relaxing meal if you are looking to escape the restaurant crowds of Central.
Libertine also serve a brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00amuntil 5:00pm and have a great daily happy hour between 4:00pm and 8:00pm with 2-4-1 cocktails and complimentary tapas on the bar.
