Arrival Dance
Oaga Art Resort is one of the most unique and vibrant concepts we have experienced at an island resort in the Maldives. We were instantly taken with the local meets luxury vibes, friendly and welcoming community, and beautiful island. Our stay started with a traditional arrival dance followed by welcome drinks in their colourful and vibrant main bar. We loved the tropical feeling and our spacious and modern Haruga Beach Villa.
Oaga strive to add Maldivian architecture, culture, and style throughout their resort and guests won’t miss out on five star comforts, sleek modern guest rooms, decadent beds, and colourful outdoor bathrooms. We enjoyed having a refreshing private plunge pool just steps from the white sand beach and a personal butler who ensured our family had everything we needed throughout our stay.
You’ll never run out of things to do at Oaga from tranquil massages, engaging cooking classes and craft beer tasting to a visit to their petting zoo. We loved the tranquil beachfront pool at Sobi Bar and the buzzing main pool and swim-up bar.
Dining options were ideal for a foodie family with delicious buffets at Kaa Kada serving a variety of International and Maldivian fare. We highly recommend booking a private beach dinner for a celebratory night to remember. The Premium All Inclusive ensured we always had something to eat and drink and even included a variety of excursions and activities including diving, water-sports, cooking sessions, and sunset cruises. Children will delight in the interactive Kids Club boasting a long list of activities and an opportunity to feed the resident goats, rabbits, chickens, and parrots. Our children loved that there were animals on the island making friends with the kittens and bunnies, and watching little chicks cross their path.
The best part of Oaga Art Resort is the amazing team who always went out of their way to make us feel at home, include guests in activities, and encourage families to enjoy a traditional side of the Maldives. A perfect spot for luxury and culture while staying in one of the most beautiful islands near Male.
