Sole Mio is one of our favourite spots in the city to dig into hearty, authentic Italian fare in a cozy, family style atmosphere. The restaurant has recently moved to a new location just a few doors down from it’s previous location on Elgin Street. Still set in Soho, Sole Mio features a new spacious, chic space with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the busy streets below. They have kept the same menu full of their loved Italian classics. Favourites off the menu include the indulgent and flavourful “Carpaccio di Manzo” thinly sliced beef tenderloin marinated in lemon oil served with capers, rucola and a lemon dressing, the light and summer friendly Linguine alle Vongole, the authentic, thin crust Parmese Pizza which feature fresh homemade dough and high quality toppings, and the juicy, thick cut Pan-Fried Breaded Veal Chop, one of the best we have tasted in a long time. Make sure to check out their enticing wine list and finish your meal with a mouthwatering tiramisu and hit of imported Limoncello. An ideal spot if you are craving a taste of Italy.
