Michelin recommended Elena, tucked inside the elegant Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires, blends old-world glamour with bold, modern Argentine cooking. With its soaring ironwork staircase, marble finishes, and open kitchen, the space feels both grand and inviting.

We started with the Provoleta Goat Cheese, a molten cheese dish that struck the perfect balance between salty, creamy, and caramelised. The octopus, grilled until just charred, came in a Huancahina Sauce that added brightness and depth, citrusy and herbaceous.

For mains, we tried the Pacu, a freshwater fish native to northern Argentina, beautifully cooked with crisp skin and delicate, buttery flesh. The bone-in Angus ribeye was a showstopper, perfectly charred outside, juicy and tender within, and served with confident simplicity that let the beef shine.

Elena’s wine list is superb, with a deep selection of Argentine Malbecs and international labels. The sommelier was thoughtful without being fussy, exactly what you want when pairing bold flavors.

Surprisingly (and wonderfully), the kids menu was just as refined. Our little one was served a perfectly cooked tenderloin steak, alongside house-made mashed potatoes and fresh juice, no corners cut.

We ended with dulce de leche crepes, thin and warm, dripping with Argentina’s favorite sweet in all the right ways. Elena isn’t just a hotel restaurant, it’s a true destination for anyone who loves exceptional food with substance and style.
