Our evening began at the bar during their celebrated Oyster Hour, where freshly shucked oysters arrived on ice, paired with a refreshing lemon granita that elevated their briny sweetness. Signature cocktails, crafted with both flair and balance, set the perfect tone for what would be a memorable dinner.
We moved to the dining room, where the menu unfolded as a celebration of Italy’s finest ingredients. The bruschetta was simple yet sublime, a perfect showcase of tomatoes at their peak. The yellowtail crudo offered a delicate interplay of freshness and citrus, while the burrata melted into creamy perfection, served with accompaniments that highlighted its richness without overwhelming it.
For mains, the monkfish in casseruola stood out as a true star, tender and aromatic in a sauce that brimmed with depth and character. The tagliata sirloin followed, cooked to a perfect blush and served with a rustic flair that spoke of Italian tradition elevated through precision.
We ended on a sweet note with the pistachio tiramisu, served table side it was a delightful twist on a classic that was as indulgent as it was inventive. Light yet decadent, it was the perfect finale to a meal that balanced authenticity with innovation.
From start to finish, Azzurra Chelsea delivered more than a dinner, it was an experience of Italian hospitality and contemporary style in one of London’s most stylish neighbourhoods.
