Dinner at Lily’s at The Ritz-Carlton Bangkok turned out to be one of the most memorable meals of our trip. The restaurant has a beautiful, ambient feel that is elegant without being intimidating, with soft lighting and a calm energy that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience.
The menu is varied, featuring Thai ingredients and flavours with a mix of dishes that feel both refined and comforting. It is ideal for sharing, which made it perfect for our family. We started with the burrata and tomatoes, which was fresh and simple in the best way, before moving on to richer dishes. The Northern duck confit was deeply flavorful and perfectly cooked, while the Phuket lobster linguine was a firm favourite.
Another standout dishe was the Gulf of Thailand grouper served with a curry sauce. It had incredible depth of flavour and a nice balance of richness and freshness. The hay smoked charcoal grilled free range chicken added something a little different and had a subtle smokiness that worked really well. The Black Angus tenderloin with bone marrow was another highlight and definitely one of those dishes that feels like a treat.
We finished with the burnt goat’s milk cheesecake, which was the perfect ending and not overly sweet. Service throughout the evening was impeccable. It was attentive, polished, and genuinely warm, which made the whole experience feel seamless. Lily’s is the kind of restaurant that gets both the food and the atmosphere right, making it somewhere you would happily return to.
