The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok is one of those rare city hotels that feels both polished and genuinely family friendly. Tucked into a prime central location, it makes exploring Bangkok easy while still offering a calm, elevated escape from the pace of the city. From the moment you arrive, the tone is set with sleek, modern interiors balanced by warm Thai hospitality, creating a space that feels luxurious without ever being overly formal.

We stayed in the Marigold Suite, which was a standout for travelling as a family. The size alone makes a difference, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The highlight for us was the separate living area, where additional beds can be set up, giving kids their own space while still feeling connected. We made full use of the decadent bathroom, complete with five star amenities, and kept coming back to the incredible city and Lumpini Park views.

The Club Lounge was the perfect addition to our stay. It added a sense of ease to each day, whether it was starting the morning with a relaxed breakfast, stopping in for a light lunch, or slipping away for cocktail hour. We even managed a quick date night there, with champagne and sunset views while the kids were settled.

When we were not out exploring, we found ourselves leaning into the hotel’s facilities. Mornings often started at the fitness centre, followed by slower afternoons by the pool, which felt like a quiet retreat above the city. The spa is also worth carving out time for, offering a more restorative pause if you need it.

We highly recommend dinner at Lily’s at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok during your stay. It offers a varied menu in a beautifully designed setting that works just as well for families as it does for couples, with a relaxed but refined atmosphere.
