Dining at Hotel Tugu Bali is woven into every part of the guest experience. Each morning began with made to order breakfasts that were every bit as memorable as the surroundings. Alongside vibrant fresh juices and tropical fruit, we loved discovering Balinese breakfast specialities as well as international favourites. The Mie Kocok Tugu quickly became one of our favourite dishes, while the Indian Style Tofu Scramble offered a deliciously different start to the day. The homemade crepes were equally popular with the whole family and provided the perfect sweet finish to breakfast.

Lunch was a wonderful opportunity to explore even more of Indonesia’s diverse cuisine. Beautifully presented sharing platters arrived filled with an impressive selection of regional favourites including fragrant satay, crispy lumpia, tahu, slow cooked beef rendang, turmeric rice and an array of colourful sambals, accompanied by plenty of delicious vegetarian options. The generous portions made them ideal for sharing as a family while allowing everyone to sample a little of everything.

Combined with the warm, attentive service and the extraordinary surroundings that make Hotel Tugu Bali so unique, every meal became far more than simply dining. It was a celebration of Indonesian culture, hospitality and the timeless charm that defines this remarkable property.
