The Chedi Club Tanah Gajah, set in Ubud’s beautiful rice paddy fields, is the perfect Balinese getaway. We loved the rustic, traditional charm that ran throughout the resort and the incredibly personal service provided by each villa’s own private butler. Our 2 bedroom pool villa is ideal for families with two large bedrooms, a spacious lounge and a perfectly refreshing private pool. The outdoor bath tub was a favourite of our kids, as were the beautiful grounds where they could run and engage with nature. Taking a walk through the The Chedi Club’s traditional grounds is a must do during your stay. We loved the large pond where you could see swans, fish and lizards and relax in the outdoor chairs to enjoy the peaceful ambiance. Twice weekly they offer a traditional Balinese performance where you can sit on the grand outdoor steps and watch the impressive play. Every villa is treated to great benefits including made to order breakfasts either in villa or at the restaurant, a decadent afternoon tea, and evening cocktails at sunset. We highly recommend their restaurant surrounded by nostalgic rice paddy fields serving mouthwatering Balinese and Western fare. Try their Royal Balinese Dinner for a selection of local specialities or have a private romantic night to remember set up amongst the rice paddy fields. The staff are there to make your wishes come true during your stay and could not be happier to ensure your time in Ubud is perfect.
