The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah has always been a firm favourite with our family and truly gets better with every stay. We love the luxury five star island boasting modern and stylish villas, amazing dining venues, and friendly and welcoming service. Our Water Pool Villa was perfect for our small family of four with unbeatable ocean views, a refreshing and spacious private pool, and was just steps into the abundant reef where we spotted turtles, stingrays and a variety of tropical fish.
The Residence offers tranquil bike rides with bikes for all ages, kayaking and snorkelling, a fun filled kids club, a luxurious five star overwater spa, majestic dolphin cruises at sunset, and a picturesque sandbank straight out of a postcard. The unique aspect of the resort is that it is connected by a bridge to The Residence Maldives at Falhumaafushi. We loved cycling from one island to the next and having access to dining options, bars, beaches, and facilities at both resorts.
When it comes to dining foodies will rejoice at all the delicious options. Sample authentic Chinese fare at Li Bai or gourmet Italian fine dining at Long Island. Have a casual lunch poolside at Cafe Del Sol or head over the bridge to the Dining Room at Falhumaafushi for juicy burgers and refreshing salads beachside. We loved the mouthwatering breakfast buffets full of international options and the BBQ dinner buffet at the Dining Room at Dhigurah. Don’t miss the elegant The Falhumaa, perfect for special occasions, and make sure to try the floating breakfast for a one of a kind Maldives start to your day.
