Set at the heart of historic London, Great Scotland Yard Hotel is an ideal choice for a family trip to Britain’s capital city. We loved the classic property featuring five star service and modern accommodation alongside historic and traditional details. The luxury hotel is welcoming to guests of all ages and ensures young guests are treated with personalised details and fulfilled activities. Our children loved the detective maps, cartoon room keys, and candy cart upon arrival and were even more enthralled when they entered the decadent family suite. The spacious and sumptuous suite is made of two large bedrooms and bathrooms, a large bathtub, world class bedding, and so much more. Each of our children’s beds were adorned with Paddington Bear books, delicious treats, and matching robes and slippers. We couldn’t have had a better start to our stay in London.
The hotel is also home to several delicious dining establishments and a speakeasy bar. Make sure to check out their breakfast service for made to order eggs, waffles, and generous buffet or stop by The Parlour for a traditional afternoon tea or a delicious dinner.
Great Scotland Hotel is ideally located to discover all of London’s iconic sights. The informative and friendly concierge helped us map out a fun filled itinerary including a double decker bus tour, catching the changing of the guard, and the best transport links to reach our desired destination. They even arranged fun and creative childcare with CocoRio so we could enjoy a date night while our children had a treasure hunt with their in-room nanny. We loved that many of the most sought after sights were within easy walking distance from the hotel including Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, and the Houses of Parliament. You’ll also find a plethora of English pubs, stylish eateries, and London’s most famous shopping districts within easy reach.
