Amari Koh Samui was the perfect balance of lively island atmosphere and relaxed beachfront luxury for our family stay in Koh Samui. Set along the beautiful shores of Chaweng Beach, the resort offers a vibrant location close to restaurants, shopping, and nightlife while still feeling peaceful enough to fully unwind. From the moment we arrived, the warm service and welcoming atmosphere made it feel ideal for families looking for an easy and enjoyable tropical escape.
We stayed in a Deluxe Family Room, which worked perfectly for our family of four. The room was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of room to spread out after long beach days. The resort itself is beautifully landscaped with tropical gardens winding throughout the property connecting to the beachfront pools and dining spaces.
One of the highlights for our children was the variety of swimming pools, including the fantastic splash pad and children’s areas that kept them entertained for hours each day. We loved being able to move between the pools and beach so easily, whether relaxing under the palm trees or enjoying long walks along the soft white sand. For adults, the fully equipped fitness centre and Breeze Spa added another level of relaxation to the stay. We especially enjoyed a couples massage, which was the perfect way to unwind after busy days exploring the island.
Dining was another standout throughout our stay. We enjoyed an unforgettable beachfront dinner at Amaya Food Gallery, where the team created a stunning private sunset set up complete with grilled salmon, Thai style fried fish, rich lamb shank massaman curry, and mango sticky rice by the ocean. Prego Samui quickly became a family favourite for authentic Italian dishes, handmade pastas, and wood fired pizzas in a lively yet elegant setting. We also loved the resort’s seafood buffet evening on the beach, where freshly grilled seafood, Thai curries, live cooking stations, and a spectacular fire show created such a fun atmosphere for families.
