During our stay, we checked into Villa 15, a spacious Two Bedroom Villa, which quickly felt like our own private sanctuary. The villa’s signature angled rooflines and open-plan layout create a bright, airy atmosphere throughout. At the centre is a large private swimming pool surrounded by tropical gardens, with plenty of space for both adults and children to relax. The expansive living and dining pavilion opens directly onto the pool deck, while the fully equipped kitchen makes longer stays particularly comfortable.

We spent afternoons swimming, lounging poolside and taking advantage of the excellent in-villa dining service. Daily breakfasts were served at our preferred time each morning, while lunches ranged from wood-fired pizzas and pasta to Indonesian favourites and fresh seafood. Everything arrived beautifully presented and was perfect for relaxed family meals by the pool.

For those looking to unwind even further, in-villa spa treatments are available. We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing massage in the privacy of our villa, allowing us to fully embrace the slower pace of island life without ever needing to leave our own space.

The Layar’s location is another major advantage. Despite feeling secluded and peaceful, the villa resort is just minutes from Seminyak’s vibrant dining and shopping scene. Guests can easily explore nearby boutiques, cafés and beach clubs before retreating back to the tranquillity of their villa.
