During our stay, we checked into the spectacular Two Bedroom Sky Villa, a spacious retreat that felt perfectly designed for families. The villa offered expansive indoor and outdoor living spaces, beautifully appointed bedrooms, a generous private pool and panoramic views stretching across the Indian Ocean. Every detail had been carefully considered, while our dedicated butler provided impeccable service throughout our stay, anticipating every request with genuine warmth and making each day feel completely effortless.

Dining is one of the resort’s greatest strengths. We experienced the refined Indonesian cuisine at Bejana, where the signature Rijsttafel showcased the incredible diversity of the archipelago alongside freshly prepared sambal made tableside. At The Beach Grill, overlooking the ocean, we enjoyed what were easily some of the finest steaks of our Bali trip, while the vibrant Missoni Resort Club brought a stylish Italian flair to the beachfront with its exclusive collaboration featuring signature Missoni loungers, umbrellas and cabanas. The beachfront restaurant was equally memorable, serving excellent Mediterranean dishes in one of the island’s most fashionable beachside settings.

Beyond the exceptional dining, there is plenty to enjoy throughout the resort. The Ritz-Carlton Spa is a destination in itself, offering beautifully designed treatment rooms alongside a wonderfully relaxing hydrotherapy pool that provides the perfect way to unwind after a day exploring Bali. Families will appreciate the expansive beachfront swimming pool and the relaxed atmosphere that encourages guests to slow down and truly enjoy their surroundings.

As evening falls, one of our favourite traditions was gathering by the beach for the nightly bonfire, where children and adults alike toasted marshmallows beneath the stars while listening to the sound of the waves. It was a simple but memorable experience that perfectly captured the welcoming atmosphere of the resort.
