One of London’s newest five-star openings, Hyatt Regency London Olympia, welcomed its first guests in July 2026, placing a sleek contemporary hotel at the heart of one of West London’s most ambitious new developments. The 204-room property forms part of the £1.3 billion transformation of the historic Olympia, which is evolving from its famous exhibition halls into an exciting new destination for dining, entertainment, culture and hospitality.

The hotel itself feels fresh, modern and effortlessly comfortable. Rooms are contemporary and spacious, with clean lines, calming interiors and thoughtful details including cosy seating areas, large televisions, espresso machines and sleek bathrooms with walk-in rain showers. We stayed as a family in connecting rooms, which gave us plenty of space while allowing the kids to have their own room and bathroom.

Service was one of the highlights of our stay. Despite being such a new opening, everything already felt polished and well considered, with an exceptionally friendly team who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

Breakfast each morning was served at Idalia, the hotel’s beautiful all-day restaurant housed within the Grade II listed Pillar Hall. We also returned for dinner to sample Idalia’s modern British menu where we enjoyed dishes including Steak Tartare, Lobster Linguine and Lemon Sole.

Location is another reason to stay. Kensington Olympia station is next to the hotel, while Holland Park, Kensington High Street and Westfield London are within easy reach. Surrounding the hotel, the reimagined Olympia brings together restaurants and bars, rooftop terraces, public spaces, the new British Airways ARC live music venue and the historic exhibition halls, with a major new theatre still to come.
