The Westin Maldives, located in the picturesque Baa Atoll, is a family friendly Maldives destination sure to please all ages.  We loved the welcoming and beautiful island featuring luxurious guest rooms, five star facilities, and pristine white sand beaches. Our family stayed in the spacious Family Deluxe Beach Villa with Pool featuring two sumptuous queen size beds, a separate lounge, decadent bathroom, and private swimming pool.

We were just steps from the tranquil beach and plethora of activities available on the island. As a family of four we enjoyed partaking in waters ports, lounging at the stylish main swimming pool, and exploring the marine life in the region’s Unesco Biosphere Reserve. The Baa Atoll is known for swimming with whale sharks at Hanifaru Bay and The Westin’s amazing dive team are ideal for guiding you on this journey.

Our children enjoyed the fully equipped Kids Club which featured indoor and outdoor play areas and a dedicated children’s pool, and we loved the relaxing treatments at the serene and picturesque overwater spa. For those that prioritise keeping healthy while on holiday, The Westin has incorporated a Eat Well dining menu and state of the art indoor and outdoor fitness centres.

Dining destinations were a huge highlight of our stay from delicious breakfast buffets and poolside lunches at Island Kitchen to mouthwatering Southeast Asian fare at Hawker. Make sure to visit Sunset Bar for creative cocktails and an unforgettable view, and Pearl is a must for authentic Japanese fare and the quintessential overwater dining experience.  Seafood lovers can indulge in fresh local lobster, reef fish and more at the resort’s popular BBQ night, and families will enjoy the lively ambiance at the nightly themed buffets.
