Located in the sought after Akasaka district, ANA InterContinental Tokyo offers a refined base for exploring the city, with convenient access to Tokyo Tower, the Imperial Palace, Ginza and several major metro lines. The hotel strikes an elegant balance between business efficiency and leisure focused luxury, supported by an impressive range of facilities including a spa, fitness centre, seasonal outdoor pool, and a diverse collection of restaurants and bars.

We stayed in one of the hotel’s newly renovated suites and it was a true highlight of our visit. The design is sleek, modern and thoughtfully laid out, with a spacious living lounge, separate bedroom and floor to ceiling windows framing stunning views of Tokyo Tower. The bathroom was particularly indulgent, featuring a decadent soaking tub that felt like a private retreat after a long day in the city. Comfort, space and style came together effortlessly, making it easy to settle in and relax.

Our stay on the Executive Floor elevated the experience even further. The Club InterContinental Lounge quickly became one of our favourite spaces in the hotel. Breakfast was relaxed and well curated, afternoon tea offered a refined pause in the day, and evening cocktails were a standout. The selection of food was consistently impressive, complemented by champagne and expertly handcrafted cocktails served each night. Combined with sweeping city views and warm, attentive service, the lounge felt polished yet welcoming throughout our stay.

Dining across the hotel was equally memorable. The Steakhouse at ANA InterContinental Tokyo delivered a classic steakhouse experience with excellent execution, while Cascade Cafe impressed with its daily buffet. Breakfasts were generous, dinners decadent, and the seafood selection outstanding. The dessert buffet, themed around strawberries and beautifully displayed with a chocolate fountain, was a visual and culinary highlight.

Service across the hotel was impeccable, with a particularly helpful concierge team who provided thoughtful recommendations and seamless assistance. Overall, ANA InterContinental Tokyo delivered a luxurious, well rounded stay, combining modern comfort, exceptional dining and genuine hospitality in one of the city’s most convenient locations.
